Description
The Family Grampsas Winery is located in the semi-mountainous village of the beautiful island of Zakythos named Lagopodo, at the foot of mount Vrachionas. Childhood memories from scenes of grape harvesting and the aromas of must during the fermentation process led the two brothers, Christos and Tassos, to create a modern winery in the Estate in which they grew up, in 2011. Their aim was to elevate the unexplored richness of local varieties such as Goustolidi and Avgoustiatis and to restore an island with great vinicultural dynamic to its rightful place on the wine-making map of Greece.
Respect to the tradition and keeping up to date on vinicultural developments on a scientific level are combined in harmony offering a unique experience to any oenophile.
