Description
Banana beach is the longest stretch of beach in Zante and boasts soft white sand and crystal clear water. Located 14 km or a 20-minute drive to the south of Zakynthos Town. The beach is quite commercial with plenty of operators offering sunbeds and umbrellas with bars and restaurants dotted along the length of the beach.
Water sports are also hugely popular with everything from ringo rides to paragliding and jet skis. The water is relatively shallow, making it a great option for families with children. Getting there is a breeze, there is a free bus that departs Laganas, Kalamaki, and Argassi daily. Public busses are also available throughout the day.
