Description
The Milanio Maritime Museum is located in Tsilivi, 7 km. northeast of the town of Zakynthos. Founder of the museum is Anthony Miller, who gave his name to it. It is the only Greek museum of its kind to reproduce the marine history of the 17th century until the present day. Includes watercolors that reveal the whole evolution of shipping to our country and contains a wide variety of Byzantine ships from the beginning of the Byzantine Empire until its destruction in 1453 by the Turks.
