The municipal beach Zakynthos appropriate for those who want to stay in the city limits. The beach is quite crowded because it is located within the city. Consists of sand combined with a few pebbles. The water is clear and blue. Many times in the past has been awarded the blue flag of EOT. Sun loungers, umbrellas and locker room are provided by  municipality Zakynthos. Still, there are restaurants for those who want to combine swimming with delicious local cuisine. There are many places to park right next to the beach. Water sports are not there. Behind the beach there are tennis courts, basketball and a sailing club.
